TeKshift GmbH Awarded European Commission FP7 Grant

The European Commission has awarded funding to TeKshift GmbH for collaborative R&D work within a consortium formed by higher education institutes and businesses. This new FP7 research grant totals EUR 2.2 million to support the development of new rare-earth-material free reluctance motors technology, applied to automotive industry. The project known as ARMEVA (Advanced Reluctance Motors for Electric Vehicle Applications) has started in November 2013 and is expected to run thirty months.

TeKshift GmbH welcomes new engineer

TeKshift GmbH is pleased to announced that Antoine Tremblay joined the company on 1st October 2014. Antoine will strengthen the Control Engineering team, and enable us to accelerate the implementation of our projects. As a young talented engineer, Antoine has a passion for automotive in general and for motorsport in particular. 

Antoine holds a Master of science in Motorsport Engineering from Oxford Brookes Universty and an Enginnering degree from Laval University in Quebec.

We wish him every success in his new challenge.
