Prototypes &
Speciality Vehicles
TeKshift is involved in several interesting projects for clients developing special vehicles and unique prototypes. Off course we cannot share all of our work, but please take a look at the projects we helped engineer from Antarctica vehicles to tilting sportscars.
Electric Snow Machine
Venturi Rover
Electric Power in rough arctic conditions
With this project Venturi provides the scientific community with a clean and sustainable means of transport having no negative impact on its working environment.
The Antarctica has wheel-mounted caterpillar tracks, 2x60kW power and weighs in at around 2 tons. Designed to operate in the extreme conditions of Antarctica, it can carry three people, as well as luggage and equipment. It has a range of approximately 50 km and a speed of 25 km/h in realistic operating conditions.
TeKshift provided the following aspects:
VCU Hardware and Software
Human Machine Interface (Joystick, dash-display, ...)
Brake By wire
Power and Energy Control
Battery Charge Management
Autonomous Powertrain conditioning (temperature constraints)
Tilted Drive
Kerv Automotive
The kick of a motorcycle and the sensation of a jet
The Kerv is the safest motorcycle you can find. The unique tilting system combines a sensational driving experience with ground-breaking innovation.
